INGREDIENTS USED IN RICE CHOCOLATE PUDDING

  • BOILED RICE

Adding boiled rice to a rice chocolate pudding enhances both its texture and flavor. The rice brings a subtle taste that pairs well with the sweetness of chocolate. It creates a creamy, slightly chewy consistency that makes each spoonful satisfying. This combination makes the pudding rich and comforting, perfect for enjoying as a dessert.

  • DARK CHOCOLATE

Using dark chocolate in rice chocolate pudding introduces a deep, rich flavor that contrasts beautifully with the creamy texture of the pudding. The intensity of dark chocolate adds a bittersweet note that enhances the overall complexity of the dessert. Its robust cocoa flavor complements the rice and other ingredients, creating a luxurious and indulgent treat. I used Callebaut 55% dark chocolate in this recipe.

EQUIPMENT USED IN MAKING CHOCOLATE RICE PUDDING

Measuring Cups and Measuring Spoons are the first thing that anybody needs. The right quantities will help in the desired outcome so these two things are a must. You will need mixing bowls as well to melt the chocolate as well.

A strong blender is required to mix all the ingredients.

Other basics  that are required are mixing spoons and spatulas for an easy process.

TIPS TO MAKE CHOCOLATE RICE  PUDDING

  1. Use a high-powered blender or food processor to achieve the best consistency.
  2. Chill the pudding for 2-3 hours  before serving to enhance its texture and flavor.
  3. Garnish with fresh berries, nuts, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for added texture and taste.
  4. Select dark chocolate for a rich flavor or semi-sweet chocolate for a balance of sweetness and cocoa intensity. Avoid using chocolate chips as they may not melt as smoothly.

Ingredients
  • 1+1/2 cup (260g) dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup boiled rice
  • ½ hot water
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
  1. Begin by melting dark chocolate in the microwave, heating it in 30-second intervals until it is completely melted.
  2. In a blender, combine cooked rice, boiled water, and the melted dark chocolate. Blend until you achieve a smooth, velvety mousse like texture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate it for 2 hours until it sets.
  4. Once the pudding is set, dust the top with cocoa powder and enjoy!
