FOOD STYLING WORKSHOP, AHMEDABAD

This indeed was a wholesome one in Ahmedabad on 24th September 2023, with fun people, fun conversations and good food! Even with a huge participation we did hands-on dessert styling and a lot many photographs. It was an all women power that made the workshop go sold-out in a week!

FOOD STYLING WORKSHOP, KOLKATA

The third destination was my favorite city, Kolkata. The workshop was took place on 17th September 2023, and was as much fun as the conversations I had with the participants. Very carefully each participant took in consideration the food styling tips that were shared throughout the workshop and applied practically when it came to styling their own desserts!

FOOD STYLING WORKSHOP, INDORE

The second destination for this workshop was Indore on 26th August 2023. We had so many meaningful conversations related to baking and cooking. Along with me sharing my knowledge on food styling that I gathered over the years, participants were equally contributive of their experiences as bakers, food photographers, food stylists, etc.

FOOD STYLING WORKSHOP, DELHI

This hands-on workshop took place on 27th May 2023. It was so much fun to impart my food styling tricks & techniques in person and have a close conversation as well. I loved the enthusiasm of participants and how they were too involved to learn a lot!

BAKING WORKSHOP WITH DLF CYBERHUB

On the 15th of September, I conducted a Baking Workshop in association with DLF Cyberhub in Gurgaon. I taught my participants how to make Pecan Chocolate Chunk Bars and Chocolate Brownies.

On the 30th of August, I conducted yet another workshop in association with Fab Cafe, Gurgaon. The session involved explaining the basics of food styling and food photography to all the participants, followed by a hands-on food styling and photography experience.

On the 6th of August, I hosted a Food Styling Workshop in association with Fab Cafe in Chandigarh. I explained the very basics of food styling and food photography to all the participants.

On the 21st of July, I hosted a Masterclass in Bombay, in association with Cred experiences. I taught the participants how to bake my signature Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

On the 19th of July, I hosted yet another a Food Styling Workshop in association with Fab Cafe in Bangalore. I elaborated on the very basics of food styling and food photography to all the participants.

On 29th June 2019, I conducted yet another Food Styling Workshop in association with Fab Cafe in Hyderabad. I taught the participants about the basics of food styling and food photography, from the various angles to the various props that are needed in making your dish the star of the picture!

On 16th June 2019, I conducted a Food Styling Workshop in association with Fab Cafe in Mumbai, Maharashtra. I taught the participants about the basics of food styling and food photography.

BAKING WORKSHOP WITH INDIA LUXURY WEEK, AHMEDABAD

I hosted a baking workshop at Ahmedabad in association with India Luxury Week on the 8th of June. I did the beautiful and delicious recipe of Eggless Mango Cake along with Eggless Chocochip Cookies.

INSTAGRAM MASTERCLASS, DELHI

I and Amrita also held another Instagram Masterclass in Delhi NCR on the 17th of March, 2019.

INSTAGRAM MASTERCLASS, MUMBAI

I hosted an Instagram Marketing Masterclass along with Amrita in Versova, Mumbai on the 24th of February, 2019. We taught the workshop attendees the very basics of marketing and publicity on Instagram, from designing your feed to making sure the angles of a particular picture are right, from making your feed attractive for brands to approach brands.

BAKING WORKSHOP WITH THE CHANAKYA

We conducted a workshop in The Chanakya for their Valentine’s Special edition. I prepared two desserts- the chocolate orange cake from the blog and the berry tiramisu from my book!

SERENDIPITY ARTS FESTIVAL, GOA

In December’18, I also conducted a two day workshop at the prestigious serendipity Arts festival with Roshni Bajaj and Anoothi Vishal. The workshop was called ‘Foodstagram’ and was focused on how to present your food on Social media. While I spoke about the styling and composition of food, Roshni and Anoothi covered the description and critiquing the food on social media. The response to the workshop was incredible and was packed on both days.

BAKE WITH SHIVESH BOOK LAUNCH, MUMBAI

We celebrated the launch of my book, Bake With Shivesh at Le15 cafe, Colaba. The launch was hosted by my friend Pooja Dhingra who has also written the foreword of the book. The event was centered around my conversation with Pooja, where we spoke about the book and my experience of working on it. This was followed by book signing. The Bombay book launch was attended by a lot of food and fashion influencers as well as people from the food industry. Watch the Bombay launch video HERE.

FOODHALL BAKING WORKSHOP, MUMBAI

I hosted a demonstrative baking workshop and High tea at FoodHall cookery studio in Bandra, Mumbai. I demonstrated 3 recipes from my book- carrot cake, grapefruit-cardamom tiramisu, and lemon-blueberry loaf. The participants then feasted on a spread of desserts, all from the book including rose & pistachio cakes and citrus-cream cheese tarts. The participants then got their copies of the book signed and we took photos.

BAKE WITH SHIVESH BOOK LAUNCH, BANGALORE

I launched my book, Bake With Shivesh, in Bangalore in association with Nature’s Basket. I conducted a baking workshop for a group of 50 people, where I demonstrated a couple of recipes from the book. The demo was followed by book signing. It was my first event in Bangalore and I loved the fact that the audience was very engaging and supportive. The launch was covered widely in media.

BAKE WITH SHIVESH BOOK LAUNCH, NEW DELHI

Definitely the most exciting day of 2018- the official launch of my debut book, Bake With Shivesh, at Fio hosted by HarperCollins and Food Talk India. The event was attended by over 200 people including my family, friends, colleagues from the industry and my Instagram followers and blog readers. The launch started with a conversation with my editor. We talked about my journey and my experience of working on the book. After that, I unveiled a spread of 10 cakes that I had baked with my team to celebrate the launch, followed by two hours of book signing. Watch the launch video here and here.

Conducted a baking workshop on Grandparent’s day for 30 participants on 8th September’18 at Dlf Place Saket. I demonstrated an orange-almond cake and tiramisu.

Conducted a food styling workshop for 30 participants at the Chumbak store in DLF Promenade, Delhi on 25th June’18.

Conducted a baking workshop with Anahita Dhondy at Sodabottle Openerwala, Cyber Hub on 24th Feb’18. We demonstrated orange-cardamon tiramisu, Nankhatai, Nutella brownies and Mawa cake.

DELHI MEET AND GREET WITH POOJA DHINGRA

Organized and meet and greet with Pooja Dhingra at Sodabottle Openerwala, Khan Market on 17th Feb’18. We invited 20 people to come meet us and we took up their questions regarding baking, blogging and the food industry.
