Ingredients of no-bake eggless strawberry custard tart-
You only need a few simple basic ingredients to make this easy strawberry tart. I am sure you have most of these ingredients on your kitchen shelves already. You need some digestive biscuits and butter for the tart base. For the crust, You can use any digestive biscuits that you an get your hands on. I like to use regular salted butter to make this delicious tart. The salt from the butter gives it so much more flavor. The custard is made using milk, custard powder and some sugar. I use super fine sugar here but you can also use granulated sugar. For the strawberry topping, you need some fresh strawberries and sugar.
You can make this tart using any fruit of your choice. Peaches would be great too and will go very well with the custard topping. So will plums. Feel free to experiment with the fruit of your choice to make this simple no-bake tart.
No-bake tart shell for eggless strawberry tart-
This eggless no bake strawberry tart uses a very easy tart shell recipe- only crushed digestive biscuits and melted butter. You can crush the digestive biscuits in a food processor. I usually do not grind them too fine as I like the texture of the bigger biscuit chunks. But make sure the chunks aren’t too big because the tart shell won’t hold shape otherwise. Sandy texture is perfect. Once you have crushed your digestive biscuits, all you have to do is add the melted butter. It is very important to make sure all the crushed biscuit crumbs are coated with melted butter. The melted butter that will hold the tart shell together. It is also extremely important to let the tart shell chill in the fridge until it is completely set. The melted butter needs to set in the fridge for the tart to hold shape. Don’t lose patience there!
Eggless custard filling-
This eggless custard filling for the tart is a breeze to make. You only need three ingredients and five minutes to prepare this easy filling for the no bake strawberry tart. This custard is made by thickening the milk using custard powder. You can also flavor the milk by throwing in some vanilla beans while it is boiling. You can make a tea-based custard by using some tea bags to infuse flavor while you are boiling the milk. The possibilities to play around with this simple custard filling are endless and you can make this no bake strawberry tard more fun by bringing in your twist!
Strawberry topping for no-bake tart-
The two ingredient strawberry topping is as easy as it gets. I cook the strawberries and sugar on the stove until the strawberries begin to breakdown and become fragrant and juicy. They go so well with the luscious custard filling and the flaky buttery no-bake tart shell.

INGREDIENTS
TART SHELL-
1 cup digestive biscuits, crushed
1/2 cup butter, melted
CUSTARD-
1/4 cup custard powder
2 tbsp super fine sugar
2 1/2 cup milk
TOPPING-
1/2 cup strawberries
1/4 cup superfine sugar
PROCEDURE-
-To make the tart shell, combine the crushed digestive biscuits and melted butter. Make sure all the biscuits crumbs are evenly coated in butter.
-Press down the mixture in bottom and to the sides of a 6” tart pan.
-Let it rest in the refrigerator for 40-50 minutes.
To make the custard:
-Place the custard powder in a bowl while adding milk in small quantities. Keep stirring the mixture.
– Once the mixture is smooth, shift it to a saucepan with the remaining milk and and put it on low heat. Add sugar while stirring constantly.
-Simmer until it comes to boil and thickens
To make the topping:
cook strawberries and sugar in a saucepan set over medium heat until the sugar melts completely.

But how this custard will stay and not spill in the tart. Even after making it thick, it will be towards liquid side. Plz advice, do we need to add cornstarch to make it thick .
