Meet my new favourite indulgence:  2 ingredient chocolate truffles, made with just condensed milk and cocoa powder. These truffles are a delightful treat that combines the creamy sweetness of condensed milk with the deep richness of cocoa powder. They’re perfect for when you crave a homemade dessert that’s both effortless and luxurious. Enjoy the simple pleasure of these velvety chocolate bites, crafted just for you.

INGREDIENTS USED IN 2 INGREDIENT CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

  • CONDENSED MILK

In a two-ingredient chocolate truffle recipe using condensed milk and cocoa powder, condensed milk plays a crucial role. It acts as a sweetener, balancing the bitterness of the cocoa powder while providing the necessary sweetness for the truffles. Additionally, condensed milk serves as a binder, helping to amalgamate the cocoa powder into a smooth, cohesive mixture that can be easily shaped into truffles. Its creamy texture also contributes to the rich, fudgy consistency of the final product, ensuring the truffles have a deliciously smooth and melt-in-your-mouth quality.

  • COCOA POWDER

In a 2-ingredient truffle recipe using condensed milk and cocoa powder, cocoa powder plays a crucial role in providing the rich, chocolatey flavor that defines the truffles. The cocoa powder not only imparts the essential chocolate taste but also contributes to the texture, ensuring the truffles have a firm yet melt-in-your-mouth.

EQUIPMENTS USED IN 2 INGREDIENT CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

To combine the 2  ingredient for this recipe, I have used glass bowl.

TIPS TO MAKE 2 INGREDIENT CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

  1. To avoid lumps, sift the cocoa powder before mixing it with the condensed milk.
  2. Line your 6-inch dish with parchment paper or plastic wrap. This will make it easier to lift out the set mixture and cut it into pieces.
  3. Use a spatula to smooth the surface of the mixture in the dish. This helps ensure even cutting and a uniform appearance.
  4. Make sure the mixture is fully chilled and firm before cutting. This helps prevent it from becoming too soft and sticky.
  5.  Use a sharp knife to cut the truffles into pieces. Dipping the knife in hot water and wiping it clean between cuts can help achieve cleaner edges.
  6. After cutting, you can dust the pieces with additional cocoa powder to prevent them from sticking together and to enhance their appearance.
  7. Keep the cut truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
