TIPS TO MAKE THE DATE & ATTA BROWNIES IN A MICROWAVE
- Combine the ingredients thoroughly but avoid overmixing as it may make the brownies dense.
- Do not overbake the brownies as it may harden or burn.
- Line your baking dish with parchment paper or grease it well to ensure the brownies don’t stick to the dish & come out clean & intact.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into them. This makes slicing easier.
- Feel free to add nuts, chocolate chips or dried fruits on top of the brownies before baking for extra texture and flavor.

- 12 Medjool dates, pitted
- ¾ cup hot milk
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup ghee
- ½ cup atta (whole wheat flour)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- Deseed the medjool dates.
- Soak the dates in the hot milk for 10-15 minutes or until soft.
- Puree the dates with the milk till smooth.
- Melt the chopped dark chocolate with the ghee in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals till the chocolate melts.

- Mix till it all comes together.
- Now, add the atta & cocoa powder.

- Remove the dish from the oven & let the brownies cool down.
- Demould, cut into squares & serve warm or cold.
