On the days when you simply don’t want to think what to eat, do you also just put things in the blender to make a milkshake? Here are my top 6 summer milkshakes to beat the summer heat –
1. TENDER COCONUT MILKSHAKE
I don’t know about you but I am not a big fan of coconut but this milkshake definitely changed that statement for me that is why I had to include it in my 6 summer milkshakes! The texture is so smooth, the color is very subtle and it is super healthy! It has all the nutrients one needs to beat the heat this summers! It has fresh coconut malai, honey as the sweetener, ice cubes for the texture, coconut water to make it healthier and for more coconut-y flavor and some milk of course! I am using full fat milk, if you do not want to add milk, you can simply add coconut milk too.
2. MANGO KESAR PISTA MILKSHAKE
Don’t we all just love mango? I try to incorporate mango as much as I can in my summer recipes! I am sure I have already done so many mango recipes but I am never get out of ideas with it! This mango kesar pista milkshake is a must try from my 6 summer milkshake flavors! It has very limited ingredients like 2 scoops of kesar pista ice-cream for that intense flavor, mango chunks of course and milk! I know that’s all you need to make this happen!
3. BANANA DRY FRUIT MILKSHAKE
Do you love to go to the gym? I know I am kidding! Who does? Well this banana dry fruit milkshake can change that; it is perfect to be consumed post gym session as it will get you all the energy back! It is also perfect to be made for Ramadan or any other festivities! It is loaded will flavor and had to be a part of my 6 summer milkshakes. It has 1 banana; can be used as it is or frozen one too, ice cubes, full fat milk and soaked figs, dates, cashews, soaked and peeled almonds!
4. PAPAYA MILKSHAKE
This is the first time I have ever had papaya milkshake and I won’t lie when I say this but it was super yum! At first when I was doing research to make it, it felt unusual but when I consumed it, it was so perfect! This makes the perfect +1 in my 6 summer milkshakes! It has papaya chunks, try to have the nicest orange papaya you can get your hands on, milk, rose syrup; it makes this milkshake top notch, 1 tablespoon caster sugar and soaked cashews and raisins.
5. KIT KAT MILKSHAKE
What is life, without some chocolate right? How can I have not put a chocolate based milkshake in my top 6 summer milkshakes? I love kit kat as it is and it is even better in a milkshake trust me! All you need to make this milkshake is 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup; I am using Hershey’s chocolate syrup you can use any! 6 kit kat fingers; you can add more if you want it to be more chocolaty and milk!
6. ROSE MILKSHAKE
Last but not least, rose milkshake! As a kid I have consumed this milkshake so many times and I have so many memories of my mother making it for me and so I thought why not share it with you guys and make it a part of my 6 summer milkshakes! It has 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream, some rose syrup, some melon seeds as they give cooling effect to body, if you do not have them you can skip it, some gulkand, ice cubes and milk.
