If you guys haven’t tried a smoothie as an entire breakfast, you have really missed out on a lot!
This blackberry smoothie is my favorite go-to breakfast. It is healthy, meal appropriate, refreshing, and it keeps me going throughout my day! Also, to start your day with such a delicious smoothie- it’s the best!
I have heard that ‘green’ smoothies are always considered better and healthier, but this isn’t so. This blackberry smoothie is antioxidant rich and is very filling and even though it’s not green, I am sure purple only becomes more appetizing, haha! Also, look how pretty it looks! You can add as many toppings you’d like to. I really like coconuts and fresh fruits, especially berries. Remember- your smoothie is always as good as the ingredients you put in it and this one has all the amazing ones!
- 2 cups frozen blackberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup oats
Blend all the ingredients in the blender until everything is well combined and smooth
