WAFFLES
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • ½ cup jaggery powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Chocolate sauce
  • ¼ cup chocolate
  • ½ tbsp oil
Instructions
  1. Process
  2. In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, baking powder, cornflour, jaggery powder, and cocoa powder. Mix well to combine the dry ingredients.
  3. ⁠Now add in the milk and melted butter in the dry ingredients and mix everything together.
  4. ⁠Grease your waffle iron with butter or oil and preheat it.
  5. ⁠Pour enough batter onto the waffle iron to cover the grids, being careful not to overfill. Close the lid and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and crisp.
  6. ⁠To make the chocolate sauce, melt the chocolate and add oil it in. Whisk it until well combined.
  7. ⁠Carefully remove the cooked waffles from the waffle iron and serve them with chocolate sauce and vanilla.
