In a bowl, combine wholewheat flour, icing sugar and baking powder. Mix the dry ingredients well.
Add the cold butter to the dry mix. Using your fingers incorporate the butter into the dry ingredients until you achieve a sandy consistency.
Now add peanut butter and milk. Heat the peanut butter in microwave for few seconds before adding. Combine everything together to form a soft dough. If the dough feels too soft, refrigerate it for 15-20 minutes before shaping.
Take two small pieces of dough and position them diagonally to each other so that they stick and resemble a peanut shape. Then, use a fork to create indents on both pieces of dough.
Freeze the cookies for 15-20 minutes so they hold shape while baking. Do not skip this step otherwise the cookies may spread too much in the oven.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius and bake the chilled cookies for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
