CHOCOLATE CRUNCH CAKE IN MICROWAVE
 
 
Ingredients
  • For the cake
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup sunflower oil
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • For the soak
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee powder
  • For the ganache
  • 1 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 cup cream
  • For the cornflakes layer
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1 cup milk chocolate, melted
Instructions
  1. Add milk and vinegar in a bowl and give it a quick mix. Let the mixture rest for 5 mins to curdle.
  2. ⁠Add sugar and oil to the above mixture and whisk until nicely combined.
  3. ⁠Sift in the all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda and mix only until no flour pockets remain.
  4. ⁠Pour the batter in your oval glass dish and microwave for 3.5 minutes.
  5. ⁠For the chocolate ganache, add chopped chocolate in a bowl and pour hot cream over it. Mix it well to make smooth chocolate ganache.
  6. ⁠Once the cake is ready, soak it with espresso and pour chocolate ganache over it.
  7. ⁠Mix cornflakes with melted milk chocolate and coat the cornflakes completely.
  8. ⁠Spread an evenly layer of this mixture over the ganache and let the chocolate set before serving.
