COFFEE WALNUT CAKE IN DABBA
 
 
Ingredients
  • 18 deseeded dates
  • 1+1/2 cup milk
  • 1+1/2 tbsp coffee
  • ½ cup sunflower oil
  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup jowar flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup walnuts
Instructions
  1. Start by preheating the oven at 180 C and grease and line a 6inch dabba.
  2. ⁠Combine hot milk and coffee and pour it over deseeded dates.Let it sit for 10 minutes till soft and mushy.
  3. ⁠Blend milk and dates together to form a smooth mixture.
  4. ⁠Transfer this mixture to a bowl and add oil . Whisk until well combined.
  5. ⁠Lastly add in wholewheat flour, jowar flour,baking powder and baking soda.
  6. ⁠Pour the batter in the prepared dabba and top it with whole walnuts.
  7. ⁠Bake for 45-50minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
