WHOLEWHEAT RED VELVET CAKE IN MUGS
 
 
Ingredients
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tbsp vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 drops of red gel food colour
  • ¾ cup wholewheat flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
Instructions
  1. Preheat a cooker by setting it on low medium heat. Spread a layer of salt at the bottom and place a small stand in the centre. Cover the cooker with a lid and preheat for 10 mins.
  2. ⁠For the batter- Pour milk and vinegar in a bowl and let it curdle.
  3. ⁠To this add sugar,oil,yogurt, vanilla and red food colour. Mix everything well till the sugar is dissolved.
  4. ⁠Lastly add in whole wheat flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Whisk it well to form a smooth lumpfree batter and pour the batter in the glass mugs.
  5. ⁠Place the cups on a plate and place the plate over the stand inside the cooker.
  6. ⁠Cook for approximately 20-22 mins or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
