CHOCOLATE ATTA CAKE IN A SAUCEPAN
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup castor sugar
  • ¼ cup sunflower oil
  • 4-6 tbsp milk
  • 1+1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ⅓ cup chopped almonds
Instructions
  1. Add yogurt and baking soda in a bowl and whisk till it becomes frothy and voluminous.
  2. Add sugar, oil and milk to the same mixture. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Sift the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder and baking powder to the wet ingredients and fold evenly to form a smooth cake batter.
  4. Grease a 6-inch saucepan with some oil and pour the cake batter into it. Sprinkle chopped almonds all over the cake batter and close it with a lid.
  5. Now, take a frying pan or tawa and set it on low heat. Once it is hot, place the saucepan over it and cook it for 40-45 mins or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool down and come to room temperature before demoulding.
