DATE & ATTA BROWNIES IN A MICROWAVE
- 12 Medjool dates, pitted
- ¾ cup hot milk
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup ghee
- ½ cup atta (whole wheat flour)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- Deseed the medjool dates.
- Soak the dates in the hot milk for 10-15 minutes or until soft.
- Puree the dates with the milk till smooth.
- Melt the chopped dark chocolate with the ghee in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals till the chocolate melts.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the date & milk puree.
- Mix till it all comes together.
- Now, add the atta & cocoa powder.
- Mix well till the batter is smooth but avoid overmixing.
- Add the batter to a greased 5-inch microwave safe baking dish.
- Cook in the microwave for 4.5 minutes on regular heating mode.
- Remove the dish from the oven & let the brownies cool down.
- Demould, cut into squares & serve warm or cold.
