6 minute Milk Cake in microwave
 
 
Ingredients
  • For the sponge
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • ¾ cup castor sugar
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 + ¼ cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • For the soaking liquid
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup condensed milk
Instructions
  1. Grease & line a 7 inch silicon mould & keep it aside.
  2. Add milk & vinegar to a bowl & mix well. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the castor sugar, oil, vanilla to the milk mixture & mix well.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder & baking soda to the bowl & mix well till the batter is smooth & there are no lumps.
  5. Add the batter to the lined silicon mould & bake in the microwave on regular heating mode for 6 minutes.
  6. Remove from the microwave after 6 minutes & let the cake cool slightly before demoulding.
  7. Place the cake on a dish & poke holes all over the cake.
  8. For the soaking liquid, combine the milk & condensed milk & mix well.
  9. Pour the soaking liquid on the warm cake evenly for better absorption.
  10. Combine another 1 cup milk & ½ cup condensed milk & pour over the cake and on the sides of the cake.
  11. Garnish the cake with whipped cream & strawberries.
  12. Refrigerate the cake for 1 hour before cutting into slices & serving.
