EGGLESS HEALTHY CHOCOLATE PROTEIN CAKE
- 18 dates
- 1+1/2 cup milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ¾ cup wholewheat flour
- 1 scoop Wellbeing Swiss Chocolate Protein Powder
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup almonds, chopped
- Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius and line a 5 inch cake tin with parchment paper.
- Start by removing the seeds from the dates and soak them in 1 cup of warm milk.
- After soaking, transfer them to a blender and blend until you achieve a smooth date paste.
- In a large bowl, combine the dates paste with the remaining milk and oil.
- Now add whole wheat flour, Swiss chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
- Whisk it well to achieve a smooth lump free batter.
- Transfer the batter in the prepared cake tin and garnish with chopped almonds.
- Bake the cake for 40-45 mins or till a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely and enjoy.
