VIRAL ALMOND CROISSANT TOAST
- ¼ cup (55g) butter, melted
- ¼ cup icing sugar, sifted
- ½ cup almond flour
- 3 slices of bread
- Flaked almonds
- Icing sugar
- Vanilla ice cream to top
- In a bowl, combine butter, icing sugar, and almond flour. Mix well until it forms a smooth paste.
- Take a slice of bread and gently press the centre with a spoon to create an indent.
- Fill the indent with a generous amount of the almond paste and sprinkle flaked almonds on top.
- Bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, or until the it turns golden brown.
- Once baked, dust with icing sugar and serve.
