After conducting two workshops in Bombay, I finally planned another one for Delhi- my 7th baking workshop . Thai High, a beautiful Thai restaurant in Mehrauli hosted the workshop. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue! It is such a pretty space overlooking the Qutub.
I demonstrated 4 French desserts this time-
- Lemon Meringue Eclairs
- Blueberry Pâte Sablée Tart with Vanilla Pastry Cream
- Pear and Cinnamon Clafoutis
- Puff-pastry Almond Croissants
The response to the workshop was phenomenal. We had 16 lovely participants, who actively participated in the demo. They assembled lemon meringue eclairs and also made their own almond croissants.
Thai High served their signature dishes and mocktails as we proceeded through the workshop.
Raman Kohli, the chef at Thai High demonstrated 4 Thai dishes at the workshop-
- Thai Iced Tea
- Wasabi and feta lychee
- Ginger and Lemongrass Martini
- Otak Otak on a bed of Crispy Kafir Lime and Lemon Grass Parantha with Cured Radish Yogurt
Our giveaway sponsors- UrbanDazzle.com, gave away cake stands to the first nine registrations. They also gave away two tea sets at the workshop.
